Rootstock was thrilled to attend the Salesforce Manufacturing Summit on January 15th in Atlanta, Georgia. The event focused on showcasing the use cases and exciting advances of Salesforce’s Agentforce, specifically in manufacturing, while encouraging networking and meaningful customer and partner interactions. Our team took advantage of the engaging and insightful breakout sessions, informational keynotes led by Salesforce, meaningful partner discussions, and exciting customer/prospect interactions.

Customer Session: Girtz Industries

During the event, Raj Badarinath, Rootstock’s Chief Marketing and Product Officer, led a breakout session during which he interviewed one of our customers, Luke Grube, the Senior System Administrator and Salesforce Admin/Developer from Girtz Industries. The session, “From Complexity to Clarity,” showcased how Girtz transformed its operations with Rootstock Manufacturing ERP, Sales Cloud, and other solutions from the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Takeaways

One of the key takeaways from the session was the power of seamless workflows. By integrating sales, production, and operations on a unified platform, Girtz was able to drive collaboration across departments, resulting in faster response times and increased customer satisfaction. This connection between front-office and back-office functions was a game-changer, enabling them to optimize processes and streamline communication in ways they couldn’t before.

Another standout point from Luke’s discussion was their decision to move from Epicor ERP after three years of use. While Epicor had served them initially, they found it could not tailor the system to fit their unique business processes without extensive C++ programming.

By switching to Rootstock ERP, Girtz gained a 360-degree view of its operations, optimizing production schedules, boosting workforce productivity, and laying the groundwork for AI-driven innovations. With the integrated platform, Girtz is positioned to stay competitive and redefine what’s possible in custom manufacturing.

Overall, this session highlighted the importance of connecting the entire value chain on a single platform to drive measurable results and gain a competitive advantage in a complex market.
