Nucleus Research: Rootstock Named a “Leader” in SMB ERP Value Matrix
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), especially in manufacturing, have different needs and objectives compared with larger enterprises. Nucleus Research takes this into account when determining its SMB ERP Value Matrix aimed at providing guidance for businesses under $500 million in revenue. This Value Matrix, which ranks vendors on a grid of leaders, experts, facilitators, and core providers, caters to SMBs by considering ease of adoption and implementation, time-to-value, extensibility, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
Nucleus Research selected Rootstock as a leader in this year’s SMB ERP Technology Value Matrix.
Panorama Consulting Group: Rootstock Named a Top 10 ERP System
This consulting firm surveys its own clients to share their experiences with various ERP solution providers. The evaluations range from a vendor’s RFP response to product demonstrations. It then selects its top 10 vendors based on functionality depth, R&D investment, and company culture.
Panorama Consulting Group noted Rootstock’s financial management capabilities, support for multi-mode demands like make-to-stock and engineer-to-order, support for contract-based and subscription business models, advanced engineering and inventorying capabilities, and more.
Constellation: Rootstock on the ShortList™ for Product-Centric Cloud ERP
Constellation Research provides guidance to companies looking to transform their businesses. Its ShortLists, which focus on specific solution areas, help those companies find the technologies need to meet their digital transformation goals.
Constellation’s ShortList for Product-Centric Cloud ERP is aimed at organizations that make, sell, and distribute physical goods. The key components it evaluates when compiling the ShortList are back-office administrative functions, shop-floor management, planning capabilities, operational systems, and orchestration of orders. This year, it’s also looking at how a solution utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and process automation to augment human work. Constellation then considers ERP-specific capabilities, like make-to-order, field service management, manufacturing controls, supply chain management, and many more. To create its ShortList of vendors, it tracks client inquiries, has conversations with customers and partners, looks at market share, and does internal research.
Rootstock made the ShortList this year, chosen from a pool of 25 total ERP vendors.
