The Success Community is the go-to online hub for all things Rootstock—the place where customers connect with other users, partners, and Rootstock employees to discuss product and technical topics; they also share use cases and learn from one another.
The wizards working behind the curtain of this community are the members of our Enablement Team. These individuals work tirelessly to ensure users have an excellent experience as part of this environment. The team shared their most recent updates, enabling users to enjoy the Success Community in new ways—with access to additional resources and allowing even deeper engagement among users.
Enhanced User Interface
Just like refreshing the overall look and feel of a restaurant, The first order of business was to update the user interface (UI) to make the space more welcoming and vibrant. The new UI introduces an energetic feel, mirroring the dynamic nature of the community. It also streamlines the user experience by reducing friction, enhancing navigational guidance, and simplifying access to various resources. These changes ensure customers will find what they need quickly and easily.
Beyond Rooted-In 2024—A Powerful Resource
The new “Beyond Rooted-In 2024” page ensures that customers can continue to benefit from the Rooted-In Manufacturing Conference, the must-attend industry event of the year. Although the event concluded in March, this page provides community members with early and ongoing access to PowerPoint decks and session recordings. Additionally, an associated group allows for ongoing dialogue and connection, enabling the collaborative spirit of Rooted-In to continue.
At the top of the page, customers will find a highlight reel—worth watching to get a glimpse of the live Rooted-In experience. The rest of the page is laid out like the conference agenda, making it easy to navigate.
Although not all Rooted-In sessions were recorded, users have on-demand access to the keynote presentations, as well as business and technology track sessions. Even when recordings aren’t available, users may be able to access presenter slides, so the Enablement Team recommends that members explore all material to see what’s available.
After watching a session, members can also go over to the related group to continue the conversation. If they have questions or want to discuss sessions they’ve watched, they can comment and even tag presenters to ask specific questions.
New Recognition Badges: Motivating Member Engagement
To make community participation even more rewarding, a new badge system has been launched. Badges recognize customer contributions and encourage engagement. Customers earn badges by being active in discussions, responding to posts, and participating in community events. This system not only adds a fun element to community involvement but also comes with monthly challenges and incentives.
Members can earn new badges by engaging with the Success Community through the Discussions forum, becoming Rootstock certified or by completing one of our live boot camps and workshops. In this way, badges demonstrate to a member’s manager and colleagues that they’re invested in ensuring success with Rootstock. Responding to monthly challenges is another way to earn badges, and it helps members get even more engaged with like-minded professionals. Over time, members can feel gratified in seeing all the badges they’ve accumulated in their profile.
